United Nation

This was one of my first Art Directing Job, where I had to do all designs, come up with 12 illutrations , coloured and talk with the client and tryed to accomodate all their request in few weeks of work. Creacyyyy works hours but I always manage to be done by the due date. I love trying new styles, is the only way we can keep learning.
My ultimate dream is to become a director. And learning from the greatest directors like: Walt Disney, John Lasseter, Brad Bird, Ridley Scott and others, are good artist first then directors. I truly believe that for direct a big number of people from different departments, you need to respect and understand what and how important is their work. When you can relate to someone immediately you can install a good vibe and a great harmony in the studio, and they will respect you calls.
My good friend Geoffrey Donovan..(yessss twin brother of Daren Donovan 2 great artist & friends), colour the one on the center...Its ammazing when you know what you want the you have people that they know how to do it or can fully understend your directions- thats the good thing about been an artist...This is my first time I let someone else to finish colour one of my drawing. :)
This illutrations were done for United Nation Website... and I was suppose to create a nice tv-show for them (where I did all the storyboards for ) but never past the production stage, since the " Middle Man " blew all the money for personal use... a pure scandal !! :)

Tina, I am there for helping you guys to receive and be the best you can be, all you guys/girls are really talented. Just a bit lazy or confuse from this art form... That's why I give you those exercises.
The only think I know is that they worked for me, and other exercises some teacher ( like Gerry Zeldin, Werner Zimmerman, and Vince Peets )assign it to me when I was student. I am just returning the favour to you guys and keep positive energy :)
...And yes I am underpay.. :) but thats the only way I can working to my portfolio too. I dream nite and day to work at Pixar one day. It is so inspiring even just to walk there.
But probably that's just a dream, but i think is worth it to give it a try :)

Hi Angelo,

Wonderful blog you have here. I don't think we've ever met but I do remember your art from back when you were a student. I was in a year younger than you I believe.
Anyhow, I look forward to meeting you one of these days... I'm sure our paths will cross at Sheridan

An honorary Roman citizenship would be nice but it's not as beneficial during the empire...Thanks for the comment. I totally agree with what you said here. Leadership is being just being a step ahead of your subordinates and delegation is the name of the game. It's hard to delegate if there's no trust and respect for those under you. Sorry to hear what happened on this project...it's a classic!. But after seeing your artworks and sensibilities, I'd say you're on your way to fulfilling your dream. Keep it up, my friend. Btw, I'm linking you up.

Buongiorno Signor Libutti. Mi chiamo Riè, e studio l'animazione a Seneca. Mi piaciono i Suoi lavori e penso che loro sono sempre straudinari, in particolare, gli illustruzione, le animazioni e life drawings. Excuse my poor Italian as it is not my native tongue (I hope I did not say anything too strange). Ho dimenticato tutto perchè non ho practicato la lingua da tre anni...

I saw you at the Winter Fair on Thursday but was too shy to say anything. As some of the other people have requested, I look forward to seeing your drawings from the Fair.
